Occasionally I run across items at estate sales or markets that I simply cannot pass up. These little gowns are such an item. They are all from the 1940s and in superb shape. They're entirely handcrafted, with French seams and handmade button holes. The hand embroidery accents on yoke, cuffs and throughout the fabric is stunning. They are all newborn-3 month size and in two lengths...long, and extra long. Some have short sleeves with beautiful hand-embroidered edges; some have 3/4 length sleeves, also with embroidered trim. They're perfect for summer wear or for special occasions and even for a summer christening or blessings day event at church.
